Rennie Yotova

Born in 1968 in Sofia, Rennie Yotova obtained her PhD in French literature at the Universities of Paris X – Nanterre and St-Clément d’Ohrid in Sofia where she is now professor of Francophone literatures. As a visiting Professor she taught at the universities of Geneva, Lausanne, Bruxelles, Bucarest, Paris 8, Paris Ouest Nanterre and Bordeaux III. Since 2010 she is the Head of the Francophone Central European centre for the International Francophone Organisation. Author of Jeux de construction : poétique de la géométrie dans le Nouveau Roman (2006) et Ecrire le viol (2007), she also translated about ten francophone writers such as Gérard de Nerval, Jean-Paul Sartre, Albert Camus, Michale Tremblay, Michel Layaz and Agota Kristof.
