Anne Martine Parent

Anne Martine Parent was born in 1974. She studied at the University of Laval (Quebec) and at the University of Quebec in Montréal (UQAM) where she obtained her PhD thesis entitled Paroles spectrales, lectures hantées. Médiation et transmission dans le témoignage concentrationnaire. Following her postdoctorate in Montreal she is now Professor at the University of Quebec (Chicoutimi) where she teaches literary theories and 19th and 20th French Literature. She is interested in contemporary feminine literature, contemporary autobiographies, feminism studies and theories of gender.
