Stéphane Pétermann and Daniel Maggetti
Stéphane Pétermann, born in 1974 wrote in 2002 a final year dissertation on La Beauté sur la terre entitled C.F. Ramuz: from “La Beauté sauvage” to La Beauté sur la terre: genesis of a narration (University of Lausanne). He then wrote several monographs on Ramuz: Ramuz paysan, patriote et héros: construction d’un mythe (2006), (Ré)écrire la vie de Ramuz (2008). He is now head of research in the Research Centre of Roman letters (CRLR), where he is working on the critical editions of the correspondences between Gustave Roud and Georges Nicole (Correspondance: 1920-1959, Infolio, 2009)
Author of L’Invention de la littérature romande, 1830-1910 (Payot, 1995), Daniel Maggetti, born in 1961, is now co-editing with Roger Francillon a critical edition of C.F. Ramuz works (Slatkine). He had actively worked before at the edition of the novels by Ramuz for the Pléiade edition. He is now Professor of Romande and Francophone literature at the University of Lausanne and head of the CRLR where he published the correspondence between Paulhan, Ramuz and Roud (Le Patron, le pauvre home, le solitaire, Geneva, Slatkine, 2007)
