Philippe Garbani

Former prefect and former president of the francophone council for the bilingual Bienne district.

“In fact, I come from the Italian language and I have always spoken several languages and always try to learn new ones. But through school, it is the French language that settled at the heart of my culture. This is the reason why I loved to preside over the francophone council in Bienne. It also explains why I am supporting ACEL, created and directed by Patrick Amstutz. The very integration of ACEL within the bilingual city of Bienne symbolizes the importance of French culture within our multilingual society.”
